Taylor's Refresher

Yesterday Mike and I wanted to take a drive up to St. Helena to have lunch at one of our favorite places Taylor's Refresher. When I was pregnant I developed a love for cheeseburgers. I was curious to see if they still tasted as good to me now that I'm not pregnant (yes, they do). Lucas enjoyed the drive (he slept the whole way!) and had fun posing for some photos.
Here he is checking out the grounds with his daddy.

Posing with mommy for some pictures:

Such a ham!

While Mike and I enjoyed cheeseburgers, Lucas enjoyed munching on his hands.

Who's cuter?

Lucas wanted to pose next to a furry friend to see if you could figure out who is cuter.

With that smile, is there really any difficulty making up your mind?

Christmas Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Schooler

Lucas was so excited to have Grandma and Grandpa Schooler come up for a Christmas visit. He loves being able to show off to them how much he has grown!

Last time they were here was around Halloween. Lucas was much smaller then. He also was only smiling occasionally compared to now.

Future Laker!

Lucas is a huge Lakers fan. I think he became a fan listening to all of those playoff (and ultimately championship games) while he was still in my tummy.

Anyway, he couldn't wait to sport his Lakers warm up outfit. After all, considering he is in the 95th percentile for height, he just may have a future in the NBA and of course he'll want to play on the best team (don't hate, Gus)!

He hung out on the couch and enjoyed a beer with his Grandpa Schooler (well, Grandpa enjoyed the beer).

Uncle Jay came over to hang out and brought Lucas a cool, new hat. Lucas thought it went great with his Lakers outfit.

The only problem is that Lucas has quite a bit of junk in his trunk (as well as the rest of his body) so his outfit was a tad tight. He still looked mighty cute though with it hugging his chubby thighs and booty.

Trying to breastfeed on Mike

Whenever you put Lucas horizontal, you better watch out. He's going to look for something to eat! Doesn't even matter if you're wearing his shirt or if you're even his Mama.

Christmas Day - Part Two

After Lucas woke up from his afternoon nap we decided it would be appropriate for him to wear his pajamas over to my parents' house to celebrate Christmas with them. They were Christmas after all with an adorable reindeer on his bum. Here he is showing off his backside with his primos Francisco and Michelle.

We took a family photo by the Christmas tree since Mike and I didn't get around to putting a tree up at our house (next year, I promise!).

Lucas was pretty excited to learn that he had a whole stack of presents waiting for him over here as well!

He definitely enjoyed his new book from his Uncle Joe.

His Aunt Michelle gave him a teddy bear that he adored! He immediately forgot about all of his other presents and started cuddling it!

Lucas then decided it would be fun to entertain everyone with his mad skills at rolling over. He was right, all eyes were on him!

Here he goes!

Aren't I cute?

It was a wonderful first Christmas. We are so lucky to have Lucas in our lives.
